PhotoHunt: Metal
This week’s photo hunt is Metal. Here is a shot of two metal Seattle landmarks – the Space Needle and the Experience Music Project (EMP). The EMP is an amazing building. It was designed by Frank Gehry and it is clad in metal.
Here are a couple other shots of the metal exterior.
Sky Window where the monorail passes through the building.
Interesting! I don’t think we have anything as science fiction looking around here. Good shots!
I did Photo Hunt today, too. I hope you get a chance to visit and leave your link. 🙂

I thought that I recognized a Gehry! You wouldn’t know that he is behind the redesign of the Art Gallery of Ontario – it is a non-Gehry Gehry! *smile*
That second shot looks like Attack of the Killer Clam. Interesting building.
wow! you are so right! it is amazing indeed!!!
Wow – the colors reflected in the metal, and the textures, are really interesting!
I loved your pumpkin pie pic as well. 🙂
Great Photos for this week’s theme. I’d seen pictures of the Space Needle before but not of the other building. Very unique!
Wow, what great pictures, perfect for this week’s theme!
The EMP is such a cool building!! It looks like a very interesting place to visit. Too bad I missed out on this one when I lived in Washington.
Incredible! The sky window photo is fascinating!
More cool shots, Marta!
Hi Marta, great photos for this week’s theme. Great combination shot of the needle and the EMP!
Wow, I’ve never seen the EMP before – what an amazing place! Great shots!
