Training
We hiked up Mt. Si today. The day was pretty crappy but we went anyway. I hate that trail but it is one of the best for training. It is 8 miles round trip and 3200 ft elevation gain. We made it to the top about 2:15 hours. Pretty slow but it was a good pace for me. We got to the top and there was snow and ice the last quarter of a mile. It was really slippery coming back down. You do not want to fall and land on a rock. It started to snow/hail at the top so we had to bundle up for a while.
I still haven’t received letter from Inyo rangers. I’m getting impatient.
