The construction has finished and the new Bellevue Botanical Garden is now open.  The plants have not changed but there is now a wonderful educational center, improved parking lot and entry.  We visited this weekend.

The perennial beds are in full bloom. The summer flowers are just coming on.  We loved the summer bulbs (lilies and irises) that were in bloom.  We can not wait to go back again in a couple of weeks to see the next wave of blooms.

A wide variety of different bulbs are planted – from lovely species Morea and Gladiolas to the stunning 8 foot Cardiocrinum giganteum.
