We spent 6 weeks in southern France starting in September 2007. It was our fourth trip to France and third to Cote d'Azur. One of Marta's dreams was to take an intensive French class in France. She fullfilled that dream studying at Institut de Francais in Villefranche sur Mer for 4 weeks. George joined her after the classes and we spent 2 more weeks exploring the Riviera and Provence.
Our first week was in Menton where we stayed in a wonderful apartment in Vieux Menton. We spent time exploring the English gardens of the Riviera. We had a chance to visit

The second week was spent in the Luberon area of Provence at a lovely apartment in the small hamlet outside of Lioux. We traveled to the small towns of Luberon using xxx guidebood and hiked the cliffs above Lioux.
